• There is a generational transition underway in the construction industry as the Baby Boomer generation continues to move towards retirement. This creates demographic succession needs as the next generation of leaders and key employees step forward in light of declining numbers of next generation construction professionals. Key leadership gaps are present across the industry, as the Great Recession and COVID-19 impacted the base of key professionals.
