  Safety culture exists whether an organization proactively manages it or not. Over the past 50 years, Caterpillar Safety Services has worked with hundreds of organizations striving to build the strongest safety culture possible to keep their people safe. What we've learned is that the key to success and sustainability is resilience. In this presentation you will learn about the four interdependent components that are necessary to achieve a resilient safety culture: a system with appropriate controls and clear expectations, a shared mindset that meets challenges with care and curiosity, consistent leadership behaviors that positively influence others, and a fully engaged organization focused on continuous improvement to build ownership. 
  

  Learning Objectives: 

  - Understand what it means to have a resilient safety culture and what is necessary to achieve it. 

  - Gain insights into why many safety systems struggle to deliver desired outcomes and how to improve them. 

  - Grow your awareness of why people don't follow standard work and how to create a caring and learning culture.

  Presented By: Kris Nagy

  With over 33 years of frontline experience as a First Responder, Kris brings a powerful and personal perspective to the topic of safety. From leading crews into burning buildings and landing helicopters on freeways to executing swift water rescues and managing mass casualty incidents, he has lived through the critical moments where safety makes all the difference.
  

  Parallel to his distinguished emergency services career, Kris has spent 21 years with Caterpillar, where he currently serves as a Safety Adviser and Industry Account Manager with Caterpillar Safety Services. In this role, he partners with organizations to transform safety from a compliance task into a strategic advantage.

  Known for his practical advice, “keep it simple” philosophy, and results-driven mindset, Kris works directly with executive leadership to embed safety into company culture. His approach empowers organizations to leverage safety as a catalyst for operational excellence—driving measurable improvements in productivity, team performance, and long-term success.

  Kris’s compelling real-world insights and passion for protecting people make him a dynamic and impactful speaker for any audience committed to building a safer, stronger, and more resilient workplace.

  With more than 20 years' experience in private and non-profit sectors, Stephen's focus on leadership and resource development drives his desire to help customers from a variety of industries equip their leaders and team members with the knowledge, skill set and talents for organizational excellence.  His current role as Industry Account Manager with Caterpillar Safety Services allows him to blend his science-based, human focused background to develop the resources and employee talents needed to positively impact workplace safety and culture.  Stephen holds a Bachelors degree in Biology and a Masters degree in Leadership in Human Services Administration from Bradley University.

  On July 4, 2025, President Trump signed H.R.1, the One Big Beautiful Bill Act, into law. This sweeping legislation includes significant tax law changes, new funding for federal programs, and a debt ceiling increase. It has major implications for individuals, estates, and businesses—and understanding the changes now is key.

  In this focused, informative webinar, we’ll walk through the bill’s most important tax updates and what they could mean for you, your business, or your clients.
